Pasang lived at the base of Everest. She always asked her mother whether she can go for a hike. Her mother used to let her go to the base camp and return. Pasang longed to go to the peak. After all, she had climbed many many mountains though she was only twelve.
So one day, when her mother was out to Namche, Pasang decided to set off to the Top of the World. She went through many difficulties and pleasures, terror and traumas, so on. She camped at camp no. six that night.
She was determined to summit the next day. As soon as dawn broke, she got up and completed her task. She finally satisfied her hunger to look down from Everest’s peak. She had no better pleasure her entire life.
