The ‘Good’ Part
Mischievous as she was, Anne was also an adventurous little girl of thirteen. Redhead, that was her nickname. The so-called Redhead used to go out behind her pretty cottage to the beach and there she would go to the ocean under 14 feet high waves and come running back again. This was the ‘good’ part.
Secret Discovered
Anne’s mother didn’t allow Anne to go to the beach or play in the waves, so this was Anne’s secret. But one day her mom discovered a lot of sand and sea shells in the pocket of her shorts. Obviously, it was Secret discovered. So, the next day Anne’s mother locked the front doors and the gate of the cottage before going to work.
A Way to Break Out
But was this gonna stop Anne? No. She climbed the bars of the gate and unfortunately fell down on the other side. But that was nothing compared to the waves. She ran around the cottage to go to the beach. Here she was at last. ‘Well’, thought she. ‘I did get a prize for falling down from the gate!’
