Wotcher! Thank you for landing on my website when there are millions of them. My name is Bheri. My father named me after the river Bheri in western Nepal. I like my name very much.
I want to be a politician when I grow up. I want to make the children of Nepal free from exams. And a few bits more.
I love books very much indeed. I have read over hundred books till now. I started reading books myself when I was two. Before that my parents entertained me by reading cloth books made for infants. I began to read picture books brought by my Nani-Ama (aunt). Then I upgraded myself and started to read chapter books. Later on, I read novels. My mama gifted me Kindle last year. It helped me to explore the limitless world of books. Though, I don’t get a lot of choices in Nepali children’s books.
I always used to read books before bedtime. But when the covid pandemic hit the world and lockdown started, I got plenty of time to read. I can spend my whole day reading. I also write stories. But I must say that I enjoy reading more than writing.
I am often so lost in the world of the book, sometimes, my mother has to chivvy me away from books.
My favourite book is Totto Chan. I like it because of Totto’s behaviour. I think she is adorable, innocent and lively. But her teacher finds her irritating and mischievous. Thus, she has to leave her first school in just four days. Luckily, she finds a good headmaster and school. In her opinion, it is the best one in Japan.
I like the Harry Potter series the most. It has everything in it. Adventures, mysteries, thrills, horror and friendship. I have read it for the umpteenth time. I just can’t stop reading J.K Rowling’s books. I have also read The Ickabog.
Thank you
